Testimonial

I have always been active and enjoyed exercise.  I’ve been a runner since high school for both exercise and stress relief.  I also have lifted weights on and off for years.  I gained the dreaded freshman 15 in college but mine was more like the freshman 20.  At 5’2, 20 lbs is a lot!  I kept those extra 10-15 lbs until I was about 32.  I had just had my second child and felt frumpy and miserable.  I hired a local trainer who put me on an extreme diet of 1000 calories a day, with 6 days of cardio a week.  I lost weight very quickly, and was at the lowest weight I had ever been, 114 lbs.  I weighed 120 in high school.  But I still hated the way my body looked.  It was not how I imagined I’d look at that weight.  I felt flabby and told myself I needed to lose more weight to get the body I had dreamed of.  I wanted to rock a bikini for once in my life!
Fast forward a few more years.  I gave birth to my third child, and found myself struggling to get the last bit of baby weight off.  I would lose a few pounds, then the scale would stop moving and I’d panic and add more cardio and eat less food.  Then I’d feel so crazy and quit dieting and gain the weight back.  After yo-yoing for 9 months I decided I needed help!  I found Noel through some friends of mine that had worked with her before and raved about her.  It was a big paradigm shift for me.  Her diet had so much more food than I was used to eating!  At first I was scared, but I trusted her completely and did exactly what she told me to do.   In the past I had not eaten to fuel my workouts.  I thought less food was always better.  But I could never sustain the low calories and lots of exercise.  There were lots of moments of panic because the truth is the scale did not move much for me at all.  Noel was always there to reassure me that the scale didn’t matter and that I WAS making progress, and to keep at it.
The thing I loved the most about having Noel as my coach, is having that extra set of objective eyes on me.  I couldn’t see my own progress.  I wanted to believe the scale.  When it said I was the same weight for months and months, I thought that meant nothing was happening.  She kept on me, always encouraging me and even smacking me around a bit when I needed it.
I cannot say enough how grateful I am for the experience I had working with Noel.  She truly cares about her clients and is extremely knowledgeable in her field.  She was always very quick to respond to my emails and questions.  I have three young children and work part time as a professional and she made her plans fit into MY lifestyle.  I’ve had trainers in the past, both online and in person that gave me what was obviously a cookie cutter workout and diet.  With Noel, I had a custom plan tailored just for me.  If I told her I didn’t like something or if the workouts were too long, she would tweak it and make it fit my life.  Most importantly, in this process she taught me how to eat and I know this is a weight and lifestyle I can maintain for the rest of my life.
Now I’m back into my clothes I wore before I got pregnant, but the best part is that I look 100 times better!  I weigh more than I did before, but my body looks leaner and tighter.  I am living proof that you can’t live by the number on the scale.  My husband loves that I have a butt now, before I had the dreaded runners pancake butt.  He asked me the other day, “How does it feel to look the best you ever have at 37?”  Let me tell you, it feels amazing!!  Thank you Noel!

Karine's Testimonial

I had followed Noel’s competition preps and admired her drive, knowledge and motivation. Plus, she seemed very down-to-earth and genuine. I had a great feeling that she’d be the right person for me to work with and my experience far exceeded my expectations!

When I first approached Noel with what I wanted to do, she asked me many questions and we discussed my goals; which were to first lose the fat I had gained during a building phase I had done on my own; and then to build up my delts and glutes with a specialization. A couple of weeks after I received my first plan, she had more questions for me regarding the upcoming building phase. As the dieting phase was winding down, she asked even more questions and gave me even more ideas and options. I could tell from our discussions that she was doing a great deal of reading and researching, all for ME; I was so impressed and touched.

Over the next ten months, I received a new, and fun, plan every month. Noel challenged me in ways I had never been challenged before; she set some pretty lofty goals for me and believed that I would achieve those goals. And when I did, she was my biggest cheerleader. In addition, Noel always knew when I needed tough love and when I needed encouragement. When I had some sticking points with my dieting, she was so supportive and her first question to me was always “what can I do to help?” She answered my questions so promptly that I stopped emailing her at midnight, because I knew she’d respond right then! LOL She worked so hard on my meals plans to allow for a particular food I just HAD to have for Meal 1 and another food for post workout. She knew that I sometimes had time constraints and always gave me options on my training plans. Throughout the entire time I worked with Noel, she made me feel important and cared about. As a mother of two, as well as in my job, a big part of my role is taking care of others, so to feel that I had someone doing that for me meant the world to me.

I respect Noel for many reasons; an important one I have to mention is the fact that she had done every single exercise she ever put on my plans, so I knew she knew what I was going through! She is a trainer that knows from first-hand experience.

Noel, I cannot thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me. You have been an amazing coach and trainer, a teacher, a motivator, an inspiration, a head-smacker when I needed it LOL, and a great ego booster; all the while keeping me laughing my head off! I knew you had the knowledge and expertise, but your fantastic personality made this experience so rewarding and so much fun! You are a very special person, Noel, and I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with you. I am thrilled with the improvements to my physique and my strength and I can’t wait to work together again in the future!

Old Soccer Teammate Turned Client

Well not sure how to begin except I AM THRILLED with my outcomes and experiences with Noel.

I decided to contact her because she was a teammate of mine at Auburn-on the women’s soccer team-and I definitely remembered how fit and strong Noel was. I heard she was professionally training others and checked out her website and couldn’t believe the amazing transformation she had had since college, and as a mother of 3!!

I knew I needed something disciplined and focused on nutrition. I had always been into fitness, but never lost weight or inches due to my diet (I have now learned.) I simply wanted a new life plan for eating that I knew would give me changes and help me long term. I felt myself gaining a few pounds here and there and I didn’t like it. I figured I had 5-10 pounds to lose to feel firmer and more comfortable about myself, but I have lost 24 pounds to date (in a total of 7 months) and 36 1/2 inches and can’t believe how much better I feel.

The best parts are being able to think clearer and with less frustration. I am a physician and needless to say very busy with intense brain work all day and now I do it with ease. I also have a son that is 2 and ½ and I seem to have more energy for him at the end of the day despite less sleep (I get up earlier to work outJ!)

The exercise and diet plans are very specific and work perfectly for someone who needs organization and a focus-I never have to think.

Now for the down side—you have to do it!! You have to choose to change your diet and lifestyle to make these a routine in your life or else it doesn’t work and the weight comes right back on. I had a hard time at the beginning with the meals especially at night-I felt it took away from family time-cause we were eating different foods-but now it is routine and I’ve even seen changes in my husband and son because of the way I eat!

There are no magic pills, or wacky foods-all regular things at the grocery store-just in perfect combinations and portions for you to lose excess weight and more importantly to feel better every day!
