Thank you Scott

A Testimonial from a great client that I have talked about before HERE I really appreciate all the kind words Scott!
If you’re like me, things that really impress, are rare.  our society is rife with over promise/ under deliver products & services, over hyped everything, instant gratification schemes and things that are simply too good to be true.  Every once in awhile you do find something or someone that meets or exceeds expectation.  When that happens, whether a store, restaurant, product or service, the cost becomes secondary and sometimes even unimportant.  I found a great example in noel & her maximum fitness consulting.
I’m just an average guy who was somewhat athletic once a few years ago…ok a few decades ago.  I wasn’t looking to enter a competition or become an elite athlete but knowing that noel lives & competes in that world gave me confidence that she could help even me.  I will say that the benefits & value I’ve received from her plan have been priceless.  How do you put a price on your health, self confidence & the many compliments received by friends, family and business associates??
Noel gave me a clear, concise roadmap to be successful both in nutrition & training.  Her follow up to questions./concerns is very quick and she addresses these in detail, point by point.  I have found that she uses humor, tough love, bribery, blackmail, threats of bodily harm whatever it takes to keep her clients on plan.  She knows when to push & when another approach is best. At least this is my experience.  And I was just kidding about the blackmail :-) .
I highly recommend noel & maximum fitness consulting.  Again, it’s so nice to be completely satisfied in an investment you’ve made.  It’s not easy, but the satisfaction and results I’ve received have been terrific so far.  Truly a 5 star, no brainer, guilt free investment in yourself or someone you love.
Here again are some comparison shots.

Thanks So much MARNIE!

I would like to take a moment to explain my journey to a wonderful new lifestyle that I created through the guidance of Noel.

Most of my life I was one of those fortunate people who could eat whatever I wanted and never gain a pound. I would try to get into an exercise routine, but within the first few weeks I would quit. I found it very boring and I hated exerting myself.
Well that all changed when I entered my forties. I was warned by many that your metabolism changes and it creeps up on you, and there is nothing you can do about it. Well....it did creep up on me, but, I was about to do something about that!
To be very honest, I have always been skeptical about online training and weight loss programs as I did sign up one time, with an online company, paid monthly and never ever used the program once, as I had to do all the groundwork myself and just keep a daily diary. That was a waste of my time and money.

December 31 2009 I decided enough was enough, and it was time I took charge of my lifestyle. I found Noel through a friend of mine that had Noel help her in her first figure competition. She looked amazing and got 1st and 2nd in her class and category. The results spoke for themselves . I signed up with Noel after a few emails back and forth and was very embarrassed to send her my before photos. I must say that I rarely looked at myself from the back view and I was shocked at my weight gain!! That just gave me more incentive to get going on a program

I set a few goals and Noel set me up with an eating plan and exercise routine. The eating was so straight forward and easy to follow, and the exercise routine did not take too long to figure out. I was well on my way to a new me. My first goal was Hawaii in six weeks. I could not believe how the weight just fell off me in that first month and a half. I had reached my goal I had set for Hawaii and felt awesome! I ended up losing 4 inches off my waist and 15 pounds by my 2nd goal date I had set for the middle of June!!

I cannot thank Noel enough for helping me get back into shape, and learn proper nutrition and eating habits. Without her guidance I never could have achieved the results I did. I would have just ended up quitting again. Noel does all the hard work, and you just follow her advice, and commit yourself to following through.
I have never felt so good in my life. I feel I am in the best shape I ever have been in. I now wear tops that actually show off my waist as opposed to covering up my middle section like I did for far too many years. It does not matter what your age or size is, if you have the determination, Noel has the knowledge to get you where you need to be. I highly recommend anyone that wants to make a huge change in their lifestyle to try Noel, she is the one!!

Thanks Noel, you are truly an amazing person, that I admire so much.

A Busy Mom of Three

Thanks so much Jackie! Keep up the great work!

After having my third child, I was exhausted, terribly overweight and very unhappy. My husband received a promotion and we moved for the second time in a year. I had two older children, a brand new baby, a house for sale and a husband living in another city. To say I put everyone and everything before me is understatement.

I always had a passion for working out and looking fit. As I attempted to be an amazing mother, I lost so much of myself. I was completely out of shape after gaining 70+ pounds w/ my third pregnancy. I had my second c-section and it didn’t heal properly. I knew I needed to get my eating under control as I was very moody, and so very hard on myself. I contacted Noel because I loved her nutrition calculator. I loved not having to figure out macros. I explained I was nursing my baby and Noel understood how important nursing is to me. An adequate milk supply for my baby has always been one of Noel’s priorities for me. As a mother herself, Noel knew the exact situation I was in. She knew how burned out I was giving, giving, giving. I had nothing left for myself. I was done.

After a huge heart to heart with my husband we worked out a schedule for me to go the gym. Noel developed my workouts. When I started with Noel, I couldn’t do a plank at all. I am now at a 2 minute plank. I had no range of motion in my hips and couldn’t do a lunge. I am now performing split squats with 135 pounds. My workouts have given me a huge piece of myself back. I have confidence again.

My husband started traveling for work and my gym time began to get pushed to the side. Noel said in a very nice and gentle way, “You have to make time for yourself!” It gave me the push I needed to hire a sitter so I could get my workouts in. Going to the gym 3 times a week for an hour BY MYSELF keeps me so grounded. It’s my complete and utter free time. It feels so wonderful to focus on myself and nothing else.

Noel gets it. She knows exactly what I go through every day with three small children. She knows exactly what life is like as my husband travels. She gets I need to eat carbs in order to function as a mother. I had tried other plans which eliminated carbs. Trust me, when I say my sleeping stopped and I had no energy to focus on my family let alone my workouts. Eating dinner with my family is important to me. I don’t have time to eat 6 meals a day. My macros are tailored to me and my current needs as a lactating mother. Noel has been here for me every step of the way. Not allowing me to be down on myself. Not allowing me to be unkind to myself.

Noel knows this is more than following a diet plan. She knows it’s about making a reconnection with your self esteem and reprogramming your thoughts. Noel does more than calculate a few numbers in terms of calories. She has worked with me to stay on track, to keep the focus. Noel is amazing and I love working with her. She gets it and she truly cares about me as her client.

Another Wonderful Maximum Fitness Client.

I had been struggling with losing body fat and building muscle for years. The yo-yo diets and the workout plans from magazines were just not working for me. It was so frustrating. I decided it was time to look into a personal trainer. I had contacted Noel Clark a year ago but couldn’t afford it at the time and was really happy when I found her again. I sent an email and we talked about my issues and she started me right away on this awesome workout/nutrition plan. I’ll be honest- this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but with all of the hard work in only 3 months, I’ve lost weight and inches everywhere. My clothes fit better, I have more energy and my stomach is flatter. I can’t believe I can see abs!!

When it comes to nutrition, Noel takes into consideration what you like to eat and you get a cheat meal if you choose to take it. I told her in the beginning that I was not much of a cook so my meal plans were easy to put together. She also works with you on your schedule and I love the fact that she tailored my workouts for home. I was able to do all of them at home with no problem.

When I sent emails to Noel, I would ask question after question and apologize because I thought I was bugging her all the time and she told me “Don't ever apologize for asking questions--that is what I am here for‼” She always got back to me quickly.

I’ve learned so much from her in such a short period of time. Unfortunately due to some financial issues, I have to leave and I wish I didn’t because Noel is a great personal trainer. I hope to be back someday.

Noel- Thank you so much for everything!! I would definitely recommend you to anyone who is looking for a personal trainer and is serious about changing their body, health and lifestyle.

Old Soccer Teammate Turned Client

Well not sure how to begin except I AM THRILLED with my outcomes and experiences with Noel.

I decided to contact her because she was a teammate of mine at Auburn-on the women’s soccer team-and I definitely remembered how fit and strong Noel was. I heard she was professionally training others and checked out her website and couldn’t believe the amazing transformation she had had since college, and as a mother of 3!!

I knew I needed something disciplined and focused on nutrition. I had always been into fitness, but never lost weight or inches due to my diet (I have now learned.) I simply wanted a new life plan for eating that I knew would give me changes and help me long term. I felt myself gaining a few pounds here and there and I didn’t like it. I figured I had 5-10 pounds to lose to feel firmer and more comfortable about myself, but I have lost 24 pounds to date (in a total of 7 months) and 36 1/2 inches and can’t believe how much better I feel.

The best parts are being able to think clearer and with less frustration. I am a physician and needless to say very busy with intense brain work all day and now I do it with ease. I also have a son that is 2 and ½ and I seem to have more energy for him at the end of the day despite less sleep (I get up earlier to work outJ!)

The exercise and diet plans are very specific and work perfectly for someone who needs organization and a focus-I never have to think.

Now for the down side—you have to do it!! You have to choose to change your diet and lifestyle to make these a routine in your life or else it doesn’t work and the weight comes right back on. I had a hard time at the beginning with the meals especially at night-I felt it took away from family time-cause we were eating different foods-but now it is routine and I’ve even seen changes in my husband and son because of the way I eat!

There are no magic pills, or wacky foods-all regular things at the grocery store-just in perfect combinations and portions for you to lose excess weight and more importantly to feel better every day!

Thanks Noel!

National Level Figure Competitor - Lisa Peper

I began working with Noel in 2009 to prepare for my second national-level figure competition. I was looking for someone I could trust to hold me accountable and dial me in for the show. Little did I know just how much I was going to depend on Noel!

My competition prep was a tough one. My body did not want to respond as it had in the past, and I was working much harder than I had before. Noel was a constant support throughout it all, adapting to meet my needs, adjusting when things weren’t quite working and most importantly, keeping my head in the game. When I would get discouraged, she was right there, helping me to look at the positive, focus on what I needed to do and grit my teeth and make it through. Despite all my doubts, she never doubted me. And together, we made my goal a reality.

Noel also pushed me to get additional blood work done when my annual work physical showed my thyroid hormones to be out of the normal range. Had she not encouraged me to get the full battery of tests done, I most likely would have written it off as a fluke. Instead, I was able to have my hypothyroidism diagnosed and seek appropriate treatment. And it certainly helped explain why my competition training was so difficult!

Noel certainly has the knowledge and experience to provide clients with top-notch fitness training and nutritional guidance. What distinguishes Noel from most other trainers is her ability to counsel and work with clients regarding the psychological aspects that go along with weight loss. It’s easy for trainers to say “suck it up” and just follow the plan, but Noel understands that life is dynamic, and that each individual is dealing with a different set of personal circumstances and emotional issues. She listens to her client’s needs, shows genuine concern, and tries to find solutions. Noel doesn’t make you feel embarrassed for your failures; she helps you learn from where you’ve gone wrong in the past and guides you to where you need to be, both mentally and physically. She is certainly a rare find in the training world, and I would recommend her to anyone.

Noel - I am deeply appreciative for all the guidance and support you have given me. As I have said so many times before - you’re the best!

Another First Time Competitor: Shelley Cook

This is Shelley when she started with me:

This is Shelley At her show- Sandra Wickam Classic

I signed up with Noel Clark after making the oddest decision of my life. At 36 years old, two kids, husband, dog, new home, and a very busy company in tow, I decided that I wanted to compete in a figure competition. Why, I still don’t know exactly, just that I wanted to do something big and challenging at this exact moment in my life and this seemed to fit the bill.

After years of fitting in training and sports here and there but without huge commitment, I was in good shape but my figure looked a lot most Mom’s do… a lot more down there than up here and I knew that even with a decent background in weight training and knowledge of sports and nutrition I needed help. A good friend of mine suggested Noel as an on-line trainer for me because of my remote location. At first I really doubted how it could work, a faceless person over email did not sound like it had a lot of potential to me but I looked her up anyways.

To say the least, the woman is stunning! The power, strength, and confidence that she projected in her photos alone were enough to encourage me to reach out. I had honestly never seen a woman that looked like this before in my life, so much muscle, so fit and lean but still so feminine and beautiful. I was mesmerized and wanted a little bit of that for myself.

So after a few introductory emails that explained she was starting her own business I signed on as one of her new clients. Within days Noel’s website was up and running and on it were my new workout and nutrition plans. I was in love with the new workouts immediately, so different, so much easier than what I was doing before and still much more effective. The nutrition plan, well I’ll be honest here was a huge shock. I was very defensive and rebellious in the beginning because I really thought I knew a lot about nutrition and that I was eating just fine. Over time and begrudgingly sticking to the plan I realized that I was wrong. Noel has the winning formula. Yes it takes time effort and adjustment to change your long set habits but it IS SO worth it.

The changes in my body started immediately and kept me going because the rewards were so evident. My weight didn’t fluctuate much at all but I gained plenty of muscle and lost all of my fat while eating 5 times a day. I felt better than I ever have in life and after 6 months of doing exactly what Noel told me to do I had my reward. I was ready for competition. Really ready!

The tools that really counted were all there for me, the support I received from Noel’s forums was incredible, I journaled every day and was always greeted with positive responses, suggestions and support from people all trying to make the same good choices and live a healthy lifestyle. The meal tracking system that Noel uses helped keep me on track because I knew I had to account for every single meal and if I felt like cheating or eating off plan I knew I had to report that and didn’t want to. (still did, of course, many times…. no one’s perfect LOL).

What really cinched the whole thing is that Noel believed in me, right from the start. Even when I questioned her, rebelled against her, cried, complained and tried to quit she would be there for me. She changed my plans when they needed to be changed, she held my hand when it needed holding, kicked my butt when it needed kicking and from the first day that I set my goal, quitting never became an option. I feel like Noel has a pretty amazing gift, she understood me and everything I went through, justified or not, and never made me feel bad or weak for struggling or breaking down. She always told me I am stronger than I think I am. She was right.

My goal had been to get to the Sandra Wickham Fall Classic and feel like I belonged on that stage. What I ended up going home with was so much more valuable than that, the sense of accomplishment I felt for finishing, the sense of pride in my husband and children watching me make it and the fact that I didn’t quit even when I really wanted to are the most amazing feelings I’ve ever experienced. Add that to a 2nd place trophy in Figure Short and a 1st place trophy for Master A figure in my very first competition and you have an experience that cannot be beat.

Will I compete again… probably not but my life, and my family’s lives are forever changed thanks to Noel Clark and I wonder if I will ever be able to give her up. I'm already looking forward to opening my next set of plans.

Sincerely,

Shelley Cook

First time NPC Competitor Brandy Hanson

Brandy's Befores above

Here are Brandy's photos of her at the Las Vegas Classic

I decide I wanted to compete in January of 2009. I did my homework and talked to as many figure girls and try to do things on my own. Being a certified personal training I understood the basic foundation of weight loss and training, but training and dieting for a figure show is just not the same. I tried to do things on my own, but just wasn’t getting anywhere. After my injury, my weight was up to 126 the most I have weighted in a long time. I had been doing long cardio sessions and low calorie diet to drop my weight but no change. I had worked with other online figure trainers and it just didn’t work for me. Then I ran across Noel’s youtube videos and contacted her. They were amazing. She showed me how to eat and train the right way for figure.

All I had to do was exactly what she had written out for me and within the first few weeks I could see the change in my body. I became more define and dropped body fat fast. The best part was I wasn’t doing hours of cardio. The meal plans were very easy to follow and she communicated with me on a regular basis. It was the best I have every looked in my life.

Thanks to Noel’s training and diet program I made the top 5 in my first NPC figure show at the Las Vegas Classic. I plan to keep training with Noel for my next NPC show on March 20th 2010. She showed me the right way to train and diet and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is looking to compete in figure or fitness.

Hubby's Journey

Alright so to catch everyone up to speed, my husband has been dieting (kinda sorta) for a few months. He has been guest blogging for me because honestly, he really tells it like it is from a perspective that I would consider real world. I am going to Re-post his last blog for me and then get him working on another. I know he has fallen off the wagon a bit in the last few weeks and it is now summer-time and he needs to get on it. So here is his last blog post:

I wasn’t sure if the theme for this blog would be more “Fitness Level Reality Check” or more “Things You Shouldn’t Do Unless You Are Noel.” See, I’ve lost 17 lbs. this year and 12 lbs. since I started this blog for Noel, and I just commented to a good friend the other day that I was actually beginning to feel like I was moving better. It’s hard to explain, but for me, when I begin getting into shape one of the first things I notice is how much easier it is to move and I start to feel a little more athletic, if that makes sense. Tonight I got my reality check, a sort of “Not so fast, my friend!” ($1 to Lee Corso) on the calling yourself an athlete again.
Noel says to me, “Hey, I have a program I want you to try.” I said, “Cool, sounds like fun.” What I should have said was, “Thank you, but HELL no!” But I’m not that smart. So even after she shows me this monstrosity tonight before I head to the gym, I’m looking at it thinking, doesn’t look too bad. Obviously I was blocking out the fact that Noel came home from doing this same workout on Tuesday feeling like she was going to throw up – not a good sign. But again, I was feeling good, feeling athletic again. Plus, it’s really just a circuit of exercises for 30 seconds with a short rest between each set. No rep counting, no heavy lifting, just 30 seconds of exercise and then rest. I can do anything for 30 seconds. Or so I thought. I now realize 30 seconds is an eternity when you’re doing burpees and jump squats. Not to mention I’m trying to do burpees while this cheap, interlocking matt system our gym has for a floor is ripping apart. I mean, I know I’m a big guy but really, I shouldn’t be popping up floor boards every time I kick my big butt back. Another highlight were the “explosive” pushups, which really looked a lot like regular pushups after about pushup #3 and the question really became less about how “explosive” the pushups were and more about “am I going to fall on my face if I bend my elbows again.” Like I said, athletic.
After the first time through this circuit (or maybe my second exercise, whatever), I began to rethink my fitness level. After my second time through, I began contemplating what might be the most plausible injury I could fake – maybe a pulled groin? After my third time through, I started to laugh at some of the directions Noel provided me before heading out tonight. Like when she said, hold the dumbbells over your head during your lunges, what she should have said was, try not to fall down during your bodyweight lunges. And when she said, you probably won’t need a lot of rest after some of these exercises, what she should have said was, you’re going to want to kill yourself after some of these exercises. I’m not sure what I thought after the last time through … I think I blacked out for a few minutes. If fitness were skiing, that program was a double black diamond and I should still be snow plowing down the bunny slopes.

Getting Things Up and Running

I am getting closer and closer to launching my site. I am very excited how things are coming together. I am working on a new nutritional service that is going to be amazing - talk about giving you choices! I am also working on getting packages together brides, couples, and figure athletes - so stay tuned!

On a personal note, I am dieting now. Trying to see if I can get ready for some figure shows this summer or fall. Not sure what I am going to do yet, but I will keep everyone posted!
